[0013].Sunset by the Nile
I was standing by the Nile
When I saw the lady smile.
…
Then she spread her wings to fly, for to fly.
Soaring high above the breezes,
Going always where she pleases.
She will make it to the island in the sun.
I will follow in her shadow
…
She is calling from the deep,
Summoning my soul to endless sleep.

[0012].Ramses II head
Ramses II built many temples, among them, the Ramsseum, Karnak and Abu Simbel.
It’s almost magical standing beside the statue of the Sun God, but that’s what Egypt is all about!

[0011].Ramses II
Ramses II is considered one of the greatest pharaohs who ever lived and also he was one of the longest living pharaohs, about 67 years.
His reign stretched from Sudan to Turkey and from Lybia to Iraq. He put an end to problems between the Hittites by marrying an Hittite princess.

[0010].Memphis
Memphis was the ancient capital of the first ‘district’ of Lower Egypt, founded around 1300 BC.
Nowdays the actual Memphis lost its gliter, it’s ruins are 20 km south of Cairo on the West Bank of the Nile, near the small village of Mit Rahina.
